LEARN TO SUPPORT YOUR OWN- ENOCK DARKO

Ghanaian comic actor, Enock Darko, popularly known as Bombshell Worldwide has added his voice to Dancehall Artiste, Shatta Wale’s comment on how supportive the Nigerian and Ghanaian Entertainment Industries are to each other.

There is an increased notion that the Nigerian entertainers get more than the needed support from Ghanaians while the situation of Ghanaian entertainers in Nigeria is inversely related. Some Nigerian Entertainers, which includes actor Yul Edochie have accepted the fact that they have gotten a lot of love from Ghana, but, have had a taste of that bitter pill when Ghanaian entertainers such as VIP, Tic Tac, Van Vicker and a few others dominated the entertainment industry.

Enock Darko, who faded out of the Ghanaian Movie Industry and surfaced in that of  the Nigerians had something to say about the situation. The young actor has starred in over 50 movies in Nollywood. He’s acted with popular actors like Ostia Iheme, Patience Ozorkor, Destiny Etiko and Kanayo O. Kanayo.

The young comic actor entreats Ghanaians to support their talents rather than discouraging them as they usually do.
He posted this on his Facebook timeline:

“😃😃 Ghanaian!!! hm I love Ghana. I love where I come from 😃😃 if I don’t love and appreciate where I come from won’t even speak my 🇬🇭language #twi in my nollywood🇳🇬 movies🤷‍♂️. Well no need to explain myself, support your own hard Ghanaian. because the truth is “some” Ghanaian will bring you down chale! they wil tell you ooo your time pass!! 😃😃 and aswere!! down!!!! you will fade away soo quickly!!!. Soo many good talents have faded away. some couldn’t be big enough cos of this syndrome, it soo frustrating 😃😃. I love my home regardless 😃😃😃 but hey learn from Nigerians in terms of pushing your own that’s the truth. #watabombshell #bomshellworldwide”

The major stakeholders in the Ghanaian Entertainment Industry should find a way of getting their acts back to dominance in their own industry.
