Gospel singer Empress Gifty, who has previously divorced, encourages women to take charge of their lives and end unhappy marriages.
Empress Gifty claimed in a recent video posted on her social media page that women are so afraid of what people will think that they continue to stay in unhappy marriages.

“Why would you sit down so a man could break your heart, especially a beautiful woman like you? Why would you endure depression from a man for the rest of your life? We are too worried about what people will think, like, ‘You have already divorced; I Prefer Having Sex To Smoking Because It’s Healthier – Edem and another marriage could not succeed. What am I going to tell my relatives?’ Do they matter?’ she questioned.
Despite what society may think, Empress Gifty further counselled women to flee from anything that would threaten their happiness.

“Run away from anything that will prevent you from finding happiness now that you are alive and aware of good and bad. A woman believes that society can determine her future, and because of a circumstance, her life has come to an end. I want to let you know that this is just the beginning of what God wants to do in your life. He does not deserve a tranquil and lovely woman like you, so if he is leaving, let him go, she advised.
