A LANDLORD DEPRIVED ME OF FIXING A DOOR TO AN UNCOMPLETED BUILDING HE GAVE ME SIMPLY BECAUSE I COULDN’T AFFORD HIS PREFERENCE – DADDY BOAT
Fast-rising artiste and songwriter Daddy Boat has expressed his disappointment over a landlord who stopped him from fixing a door to an uncompleted building that was given to him to stay in.
“He asked me not to fix a door to the building, and if I do so, he will sack me from the uncompleted building,” he lamented.
Daddy Boat made this revelation after the host of “WORK AND HAPPINESS,” OPD, asked him to explain part of the lyrics he used in one of the songs he released last year titled “Onukwafo.”
The lyric was “Me Nkoaa Na Menim Nie Nyame Ay3,” meaning “I am the only one who knows what God has done for me”.
“When I came to Accra, the tribulations and pains I went through made me write that song,” he responded.
The singer obeyed the orders of the landlord and stayed there for six months, and he expressed his appreciation to the landlord for making him stay in his apartment for the period.
He is currently out with a new song dubbed Kitiwa Biaa Nsua featuring KK FOSU and Lindabel
