‘I’m not a fool to respond to you’ – Edward Akwasi Boateng to Diana Asamoah

Veteran Ghanaian gospel musician Edward Akwasi Boateng has responded to Diana Asamoah, a colleague, who suggested that he use his complimentary car to make money by using ride-hailing services.

He claimed that he was surprised by Diana Asamoah’s public statement because he had previously assisted her, but she had made what he described as vile remarks about his current circumstances.

Edward Akwasi Boateng refuted Diana Asamoah’s assertions by quoting a biblical passage and telling her that he is not a “fool” for opposing her “needless” advice.

Speaking in an Okay FM interview that Remedi Entertainment was watching, Edward Akwasi Boateng declared that he does not require Diana Asamoah’s guidance on what to do with the recently acquired car.

“She [Diana Asamoah] seems to be giving the idea that I begged for the car, but that is untrue. I will not remark further because the Bible says that the fool is considered wise if he does not speak.

“She was accepting offertory from people when I used to preach and sell clothes by the side of the road; now this is what she is telling me? I do not require her counsel,” he declared.
