Multiple award-winning Nigerian singer/songwriter, Yemi Eberechi Alade, known in showbiz as Yemi Alade, has revealed that she has survived a car accident while touring in Spain.
The “Johnny” hitmaker claims that the incident occurred last Thursday, August 17, 2023, while travelling between Barcelona and Benicassim. She also stated that no fatalities had been reported.
In an Instagram post sighted by Remedi Entertainment, the renowned singer noted that the crash “happened suddenly. However, she escaped with minor injuries, losing only a fingernail. Yemi Alade further indicated that despite the unfortunate incident, she still performed on stage a few hours later that same day and then experienced a “minor medical emergency” as a result.
”On the 17th of August, we were in a car crash, somewhere between Barcelona and Benicassim in Spain at 12:06(noon). I also experienced a minor medical emergency from exhaustion after performing on stage 7 hours after the incident on the same day and somehow, I ended up at the “after party”

Life is for the living… I didn’t want to put this out, but the devil had other plans, but my Jehovah jiray said NO! THE blood of Jesus spoke for us. I only lost a nail, it all happened suddenly. Nothing is too sudden or complicated for God. His Grace is more than sufficient.” she wrote.
