Ghanaian Hiplife artist Ayisi, formerly known as A.I., recently revealed the stimulation behind his name change.
He explained that the abbreviation A.I. was often associated with Artificial Intellect, leading to potential doubt among fans.

“Nowadays everything is A.I.,” he noted, expressing concern that his identity as an artist might be overshadowed by the term’s extensive use.
Ayisi clarified that his previous stage name, A.I., was simply acquire from his real name, Ayisi, using the first and last letters. His decision to switch to Ayisi aims to avoid any ambivalence and ensure clarity in his artistic identity.
