Nigerian Afrobeats superstar Davido claims that when he and his wife, Chioma, learned they were having twins, they were terrified.
Last week, the news that Davido and Chioma had welcomed twins was widely disseminated on social media. A video confirming the news was released later in the week, and fans greeted the news with prayers and congratulations.

Davido revealed in a recent interview that he and Chioma were genuinely shaken when they learned they were expecting twins.
The news that his wife had given birth this year in October and that his son had died the year before in October brought him and his wife to tears.
His son Ifeanyi’s death in October 2022 left him forever changed, and according to Davido, he nearly lost faith in God. He nevertheless persisted in his faith and carried on doing what he loved.
