We used to take alcohol but not anymore – Tagoe Sisters
The Tagoe Sisters, a popular name for the gospel music duo from Ghana made up of Lydia Dedei Yawson Nee Tagoe and Elizabeth Korkoi Tagoe, have admitted that they once drank alcohol but no longer do.
They claim that they stopped drinking because it made them dehydrated and had an adverse effect on their bodies, which could have a negative impact on both their health and their music careers.
The gospel duo warned against excessive alcohol consumption because it could lead to problems for an individual and acknowledged that it is improper for Christians to consume such beverages because it is against biblical teachings.
The Tagoe sisters admitted they are no longer into alcohol in an interview with Joyprime that GhanaWeb watched. They cited the effects on their music career as the reason for this.
Alcohol has been consumed before. We stopped because it causes dehydration, as you can see. It therefore provides your system with no benefits. Moreover, we are expanding.
It is not recommended that you take one and wait for God to bring you another when it is time to sing “Hallelujah, Hallelujah.” She continued, “If you are singing the song while switching to the second stanza, you might forget the first stanza.”
‘Some people think it is not good for them,’ the Tagoe Sisters continued, ‘because even doctors advise them to take something like red wine or something. However, because some people abuse it, it is a problematic issue.
As a result, we believe that red wine benefits other people because, for goodness’ sake, if it is a problem, however, drinking alcohol makes you act impolitely, so you should avoid it.
