You are all aware that I have dreamed of this moment my entire life, which you have all helped me to realise. The Water hitmaker wrote, “This past year and the way it has changed my life have left me so grateful and humbled.”

I will always be indebted to you all for your unwavering love, support, happiness, laughter, and victories.”

“I have been quietly enduring an injury for the past year that has sadly gotten worse. The pain has only gotten worse, as has the gravity of the situation, although I have seen doctors and specialists with great hopes,” the woman remarked.

She felt compelled to inform her followers of the injury, even though she preferred to handle it in private. She also stated:

With great sadness, I must inform you that I will not be able to continue with the tour at this time.

She continued, “It is becoming more and more obvious after speaking with medical experts that going on any festival or tour dates would put my long-term health and safety in danger.”

She voiced her annoyance that the injury had interrupted her plans at such a crucial juncture in her career.

“My team and I are putting in a lot of effort to create an amazing show for you once I heal and am prepared to go back on stage this summer,” she assured supporters.

She disclosed that ticket holders for tours in North America will receive an automatic refund, while ticket providers in other territories will get in touch with them to discuss their options.

With her song Water, which peaked at number 7 on the Billboard Hot 100, Tyla won the first-ever Best African Performance Grammy earlier this year.
