Lyrical Joe, an award-winning Ghanaian rapper, has encouraged his fellow musicians to be versatile in their musical talents in order to stay relevant and advance in their careers.
According to the ‘Superman’ hitmaker, artists should get out of their comfort zones and try new things in the music production process.
In an interview with blogger Lucas Trendz, Lyrical Joe stated that not being versatile as an artist would result in stale projects unless the artist in question is able to master different aspects of music.

He elaborated, saying, “When you are not a singer or a rapper, you need to be a musician.” Otherwise, you are not an album product. Because when you do an album, you are going to dive into a lot of things.”
“So, unless you are a musician who can wiggle your way through, your album will be one way.” Everything will go in one direction. You should be able to snap into various pockets and such,” he added.
