There’s no price tag on God so Gospel events should be free – Rev. Abraham Lamptey

Rev. Abraham Lamptey, General Overseer of Believers House of Worship International, has spoken out against charging attendees for events with a gospel theme.

The man of God says that since sharing the gospel has no cost, entrance to gospel events ought to be free.

Rev. Lamptey emphasized in an interview with Graphic Showbiz the value of letting people experience God without having to pay for it.

“The artist listed on the program is irrelevant. Customers should not have to pay to enter the event, regardless of whether it features an A-list gospel act. Although I have no issue with others charging admission, I believe that if the event’s purpose is to encounter God for all He has done for us, then admission should be free.

“As I previously stated, if the event’s goal is to encounter God, money cannot be accepted. I am unable to assign a value to God. Asking customers to pay will be improper as a result. I have been practising my worship for 16 years, and it has always been free,” he remarked.
