The Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park which is located in Accra opposite the Ghana Commercial Bank has been one of Ghana’s tourist sites in the country for years.
The Kwame Nkrumah Museum was shut down and locked for renovation. The museum has been renovated by the government and it was officially opened by the president of Ghana Nana Addo.
The museum has not just been opened to the public as well. It was officially opened on Tuesday 4th July 2023. The museum has been attached to a presidential library for the people in honor of the late Dr. Kwame Nkrumah.
A lot of Dignities like the board of the American embassy, the Ga traditional council King Tackie Teiko Tsuru 11, former Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan, and others were present to witness the official opening of the museum.
There were historic edifices like the coffin, the car, and the statue of Kwame Nkrumah were there for commissioning and tourist attractions.
Samia Nkrumah, the daughter of the late Dr Kwame Nkrumah was there and she expressed her joy over the reopening of the renovated Memorial Park.
