The Collapse of Zylofon Media didn’t affect my career – Benedicta Gafah

Ghanaian movie sensation Benedicta Gafah has disclosed that the fold up  of Nana Appiah Mensah’s Zylofon Media had no effect on her acting career.

 

Speaking in a candid interview with Hitz FM’s Andy Dosty, the well-known thespian who was signed to Zylofon Media (movies) emphasized that her career is still in its ‘blossom’ state even after the collapse of the once vibrant entertainment company.

 

In her words, ”The folding up of Zylofon Media] didn’t affect me in any way. I feel like if you are talented, you are talented. If you are good, you are good. You were a brand before you were signed. So you just have to maintain it. How has it affected Stonebwoy or Shatta Wale? Everybody is still doing their thing,”

 

Benedicta was one of the actors that were signed on to the movie wing of Zylofon Media. Headed by Eddie Nartey, the label had other actors like Bibi Bright, James Gardiner, Toosweet Annan and Zynnell Zuh.

 

The once popular entertainment firm also had renowned musicians musicians such as Joyce Blessing, Kumi Guitar, Becca, Stonebwoy, Shatta Wale and Obibini signed to its label.

Gafah has starred in movies such as Mirror Girl, Odo Asa, April Fool, Devils Voice, Azonto Ghost, Kweku Saman, Adoma and Agyanka Ba. Others are Ewiase Ahenie, I Know My Right, Agya Koo Azonto, Afia Yakubu, Happily Never After (2016)

and Obsession.
