Belinda Nana Ekua Amoah, a.k.a. Mzbel, is a singer and entrepreneur from Ghana. She has expressed concerns about the misuse of social media platforms in Ghana and the rising incidence of cyberbullying.

The “16 Years” hitmaker claims that social media is being used more and more for bad things, like spreading lies and defaming people’s reputations.
She lambasted a number of internet publications for their propensity to run unconfirmed content in an effort to garner clicks.
It seems like a lot of people are abusing social media to further their bad intentions. We misuse social media. Netizens will find a way to belittle someone, regardless of their quality of life. She complained, “Social media has turned into a weapon.”
In an exclusive interview with Nana Romeo on Accra FM, Mzbel talked about her personal experiences and disclosed that she had previously filed a lawsuit on the same subject against a number of bloggers and media representatives; however, because these cases were delicate, the details were kept private.

Although it was kept a secret, I have previously used some media personnel and taken a few people on. They have acknowledged their mistakes and learned from them. “There is a journalist and other bloggers,” she remarked.
