Stop Taking Your Car Keys and Phones to the Red Carpet – Nana Akua Addo Tells Celebrities
Famous Ghanaian actress and style icon Nana Akua Addo has pleaded with celebrities to stop showing up on red carpet events holding their phones and car keys.
Nana Akua highlighted that the red carpet is an occasion to show off elegance and make a fashion statement rather than a laid-back gathering where commonplace objects should be on display in a recent interview with Berla Mundi on the Day Show.

She emphasised that it is improper for someone to do that and called the sight of people walking the red carpet holding cellphones and automobile keys “an old thing.” The celebrity revealed that Nigerians are going above and beyond in terms of style, describing in detail how they handle their phones and car keys on red carpets.
“The red carpet is so outdated that we should quit bringing our phones and car keys there. On occasion, when you walk the red carpet, you have to tell people to give their phones to their PA or something similar.
“The way Nigerians approach fashion is very professional and on a different level. Before you walk the red carpet, everything is gone because of their personal assistants and assistants. Nothing else matters; all eyes are on you, your style, and your attire.
Renowned for her flawless appearance and presence at important events, Nana Akua’s guidance centres around elevating the glitz and refinement linked with red carpet shows.

Her recommendation aims to elevate the bar for public appearances in addition to aesthetics. Idle objects are left behind, allowing celebrities to concentrate on showcasing a more put together and professional appearance. To keep the ensemble cohesive, she advised using clutch bags or having a helper discreetly handle such items.
