Speak the truth surrounding my exit from your BMG label – OV dares Stonebwoy

Okailey Verse, popularly known as OV, has called on her former label boss, Livingstone Setakla, also known as Stonebwoy, to respond to certain allegations regarding her departure from Burniton Music Group.

OV won MTN Hitmaker, a music reality TV show, in 2019, and her stagecraft and performances landed her a deal with BMG shortly after she was crowned the winner. When she signed, she released her hit song ‘Want Me,’ which featured reggae/dancehall singer Stonebwoy, but their collaboration did not last long.

In mid-2019, news broke that OV and her labelmate, Kelvyn Boy, had been fired from the record label, along with Black Sidi, Stonebwoy’s then-manager, who was also fired.

The news sparked so many theories that many people were caught off guard, and the two parties have yet to reveal what happened.

In a recent interview with Kwaku Manu on his ‘Aggressive Show,’ OV revealed that his former boss Stonebwoy knows the real reason they parted ways with the label, but she does not want to talk about it.

“I dare you, presenters, to put it to him on why we left the label and push him to say the truth”, she stated.

OV, on the other hand, debunked rumours that she is into hard drugs, stating that she is only in love with wine and does not even smoke.
