He states that he will not give up or slow down until he achieves the same level of notoriety and success as Shatta Wale and develops a sizable fan base.

Kwame Yogot gave an exclusive interview to Fiifi Pratt on Kingdom FM, explaining that he chose dancehall singer Shatta Wale as his role model because he could relate to the dancehall artist’s struggles in both life and business.

“At the moment, Shatta Wale is my role model, in my opinion. It is Shatta Wale, indeed. My goal is to reach Shatta Wale’s level before I am able to take a break from my career.

“Well, who else should I aspire to be like? To be honest, I had to understand him for a while before deciding to pursue music, but I have learned a lot from him,” Kwame Yogot said to Fiifi Pratt.

Kwame Yogot highlighted some specific lessons he had learned from Shatta Wale, mentioning that the dancehall singer taught him how to be tough.

“I used to be offended and used to respond to insults from fans and internet users, but I thought that even my role model, Shatta Wale, gets backlash from time to time, so why should I be offended?” the man stated.

He also urged fellow musicians and upcoming performers to learn from and follow Shatta Wale’s example if they want to succeed in the music business.
