After organizing the Made In Taadi for a while in Tarkoradi, Kofi Kinaata decided to give Accra a taste of his event dubbed “Made In Taadi Corporate Highlife Show”. The Made In Taadi concert, born out of a song he released in December, 2015, titled “Made In Taadi” is one of the biggest yearly events in country.
The Corporate Highlife Show had some of the finest Highlife singers in the country to give the patrons some great musical performances.
The program that took place at the +233 Jazz Bar and Grill costed each attendee GHC200.00 saw the likes of Donzy Chaka, Akwaboah, Cina Soul, Abiana, Abochi and Kyei Nemo grace the stage.
The Fante Rap God was surprise by his former label boss, Samini on stage. The three times VGMA song writer of the year, who was so excited to see the Dancehall artiste, went to kneel before him in appreciation then, the two artistes shared some lovely hugs. Samini went on to praise Kinaata and told the fans how proud he is of the Effiakuma rapper.
Samini signed Kofi Kinaata onto the High Grade Family Record Label on a 5-year contract. He stayed with the label from 2013 to 2018, where he had some major hit song and full recognition in the music scene. Now, Kofi Kinaata is an independent artist with his own record label “Team Move Music”.
