Rhythms On Da Runway is now the look out for event when you talk about fashion events. The 9th edition of this event took place on Saturday, December 4th at the Grand Arena, Accra International Conference Centre (AICC). This year’s edition of the Rhythms On Da Runway was themed “The Masquerade” as it is targeted at promoting the wearing of face masks to help prevent the spread of COVID 19.
The Rhythms On Da Runway 2021 was organized by KOD’s Nineteen 57 Events and the MCs were Joselyn Dumas and Sika Osei, with Nathaniel Attoh making special presentations.
The fashion show featured top designers such as Nineteen 57, MUDI, Senyo Foli, Katie O, Jesu Segun, Nadeem Laurent, Pernia Couture, Gloria Sarfo and Attoh Andoh. There were musical performances from D-Black, KiDi, Adina Thembi, Epixode, S3fa, Pat Thomas, Efya, among others.
Highlife legend, Pat Thomas and legendary Nigerian actor, Richard Mofe-Damijo, popularly known as RMD received honors from the organizers of the program for their distinguished impacts on the growth of the creative industry in the continent. The event also saw the tallest man in Ghana.
The Rhythms On Da Runway doesn’t only sell the talent of our fashion designers but also gives hope to young talents in that fraternity.
