President of the fourth republic of Ghana His Excellency Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo has assured Ghanaians ahead of the country’s mass vaccination exercise .
President Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo addressing the nation in the 24th update of the address to the nation telecasted to all media houses disclosed that the vaccine will not alter with any person’s DNA and doesn’t have any hidden tracking device that will be inserted in your body or cause infertility among the male and females of this country .
Nana Akufo-Addo added that he as the president of Ghana wants to assure all Ghanaians that the vaccine is safe and to prove this , the first lady Rebecca Akufo-Addo, the Vice President and his wife will al take the vaccine publicly at two (2) health facilities in Accra .
His Excellency further disclosed that key officials such as the Speaker of Parliament, the Chief Justice and the Justices of the Superior Court of Judiciary, Chairperson and Members of the the Council of State, the Chief of Staff and Senior Officials at the Office of the President, and prominent personalities like some Eminent Clergy, the National Chief Imam, the Ashanti hene, Ga Mantse and some media practitioners on Tuesday will take the jab publicly.
“ This is being done because the vaccine will help protect us against the impact of COVID-19 on our health. It is also a major step in restoring livelihoods and the national economy to the level where it belongs , I encourage faith based groups , civil society and media as well as all Ghanaians to the support the public education campaign association with the vaccination exercise, we need all hands on deck to make this project a success,” Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo concluded.
