Nigerian Movies Are Not Better Than Ours But – John Dumelo
Ghanaian actor and parliamentary candidate for the Ayawaso West Wuogon, John Dumelo has revealed that Nigerians are ahead in quantity not quality of movies.
John Dumelo made this disclosure and explained why in an interview on ‘Face to Face’ on Citi TV hosted by Umaru Sanda.
“Due to their population, naturally they would have more producers than us but in terms of quality of films, in terms of delivery, storyline we are at par, however Nigerians produce more films than Ghanaians due to their huge numbers but when it comes to quality I believe Ghanaians are at par with Nigerians”, he revealed.
Mr. Dumelo is a Ghanaian actor, farmer and politician. He had his basic education at Christ the King School in Accra, attended Achimota School and further studied Civil Engineering at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. He later enrolled in GIMPA’s School of Public Service and Governance.
John Dumelo made his film debut in a 1991 movie called ‘Baby Thief’. Other movies he has starred in are ‘4Play’ etc.
December 7, 2020 , Mr. Dumelo will contest against the incumbent member of parliament for Ayawaso West Wuogon at the elections.
