Nana Ama McBrown Explains Why She Stopped Acting In Nollywood Movies
The versatile actress and TV personality from Ghana, Nana Ama McBrown, has explained why, in contrast to some of her colleagues, she has not recently been featured in Nollywood productions.

During a candid discussion on Onua TV’s Onua Showtime with Mcbrown, the bubly thespian expressed her admiration for Kidi’s new song, “Lomo Lomo,” featuring Black Sherif, along with several other personalities.
She claimed that she finds it difficult to support their Nigerian counterparts because of her relationship with Ghanaian musicians.
If Nana Ama McBrown gave Nigerian music precedence over Ghanaian music, she would betray Ghanaian musicians, she said. “If you study me, you would know that I do not often jam out to Nigerian songs on social media,” the woman stated. I would have committed a sin against musicians from Ghana.”
Additionally, the TV host disclosed that she has no interest in acting in Nollywood productions. She cited Nigerians’ lack of interest in Ghanaian creative crafts as the reason behind her decision not to appear in Nollywood movies.
“Last time, my folks at home talked me into watching Big Brother Naija. I ate while watching the housemates on the show have their party. When Sarkodie’s song was played on the show by a DJ, I was present. The DJ stopped playing the song after less than a minute, at which point I got up to dance to it.

“I always engage in indirect conflict with my counterparts in Nigeria. For this reason, I never appeared in a Nigerian film. She continued, “I do not feel them that way.
