My Name Will Never Fade Away In The Ghanaian Music Industry- Patapaa
Justice Kweku Amoah, better known by his stage name Patapaa, a Ghanaian artiste, believes that his name will always be significant in the Ghanaian music industry.
According to him, even after he is gone, his name will live on, and the kind of destiny that brought him into the music space is quite unique.
In an exclusive interview with Amansan Krakye on Cape Coast-based Property FM, the ‘One Corner’ crooner stated:
“The kind of destiny that I came with is quite unique, and let me state unequivocally that my name will never fade away in Ghana.” I will always be relevant in the Ghanaian music scene, and my name will live on even after I am gone.

“The name Patapaa was already existing before I adopted it, and that does not mean that I am a disruptive person who is known for causing confusion,” he added. The whole country, even the dress I put on for the Ghana Music Awards, has more fans and is known widely than some of the musicians in the industry.”
To a greater extent, the comic singer responded to recent trolls by some netizens and entertainment pundits who said his career was over. Patapaa stated that he is more well-known across the country than those who mock him on social media. He also revealed that those who claim his career is over are haters who aspire to be like him.

“When I see people trolling me on social media, I laugh because I am more well-known and popular than those who claim my career is over.” Let them keep writing, and let them say that those who say my career is over are people who want to be like me. But they will never get it because those who think they are bigger than me are not even known anywhere, despite their constant trolls on social media,” he told Amansan Krakye.
