“The maximum amount I have ever received from Facebook is $9,000 per month. Facebook pays more than that, which explains Sabinus’s identity as well as the reason Nigerians purchase homes of that calibre. Some social media pages generate more revenue than this one. I reached close to $5000 to $6000 in just one week while using TikTok in December.

“I was unaware that Facebook could generate such a high amount of revenue. It seemed like a dream when I made my first large Facebook earnings. I asked myself, “Is this my money?” He said, “I had to take it out and hold it until I was positive it was my money

“All these things, there are ways to do them,” he went on, “We are all dealing with other countries like Nigeria because, like PayPal, we do not even have a head off to withdraw money.” Therefore, Ghana is not added to the monetization list.

Waris’s story highlights the opportunity for comedians to use their talent online at a time when social media platforms have grown to be profitable arenas for content creators.
