Musician NY Melody Dashes GHS 10, 000 To The Police Officer Who Found And Returned GHS 2, 100 To A Motor Rider In Trending Video

A Ghanaian police officer was rewarded for his good deed by NY Melody, a Ghanaian musician who is based in Australia.

Many people cheered for young Ghanaian officer Michael Buabeng when he gave the missing GHS 2,100 back to its owner.

The motor rider described in a widely shared video how, without Michael’s assistance, he almost lost his money.

He said that the incident took place at the intersection of Atomic and Madina.

Following his gesture, music artist Kwabena Maafia and well-known Ghanaian content creator ZionFelix were assigned by NY Melody to give the policeman GHS 10,000.

When the money was handed to Michael, he was surrounded by other police officers. He was described as a modest man who even handled financial matters in his capacity as the police barracks’ secretary.

Michael Buabeng expressed his gratitude to NY Melody for providing him with the funds after he received them.
