Music is a dangerous business, invest in the future – Nana Acheampong to artistes
When young Ghanaian musicians begin to make money in the music business, Nana Acheampong, the legendary Highlife singer from Ghana, has counselled them to be financially responsible.

He stated in a UTV interview that since music is a “dangerous business,” artists should make plans for a time when things will be easier.
“Beginning in the music business and seeing success is a very dangerous endeavour, but obstacles may arise along the way.
He advised the show’s host, MzGee, to “slowly start making investments for the future as the money starts coming in.”
Nana Acheampong suggested musicians start investing in ventures and other projects they can rely on because the music industry does not guarantee a steady income due to its dynamic nature.

“Music is ever-evolving; what is popular now might not be what is popular tomorrow.
Though it might seem like everything is going well right now, remember that this could not last. Thus, begin preparing for the possibility that you will not receive hits on a regular basis,” the speaker advised
Former Lumba Brothers member Nana Acheampong is well-known for her hits, which include Casanova, It is 2 Late, Wara Beba, San Behwe Wo Ma, Obi Dom Bie, Odo Kooye Akye, and Gyae Su.
