MOGmusic replies Edward Akwasi Boateng over ‘promise and fail’ claims

In response to a “promise and fail” criticism made by his colleague and seasoned artist Edward Akwasi Boateng, gospel musician Nana Yaw Boakye, also known as MOGmusic, has responded.

He maintains that it is untrue that he purposefully chose not to follow through on his pledge to Akwasi Boateng to provide financial support.

According to MOGmusic, Akwasi Boateng needed to attend a certain programme in order for the promise to be fulfilled. Akwasi Boateng did attend the function, but when it came time for the presentation to begin, he was not there.

When MOGmusic appeared on the United Showbiz programme that Remedi Entertainment was watching, they explained why Akwasi Boateng’s promise of financial support was not honoured.

“I approached Akwasi Boateng when the show began, and we had a conversation. I noticed that he was missing when I looked at his sitting position after some time. He was not to be found, even though I asked my team to search for him. The individuals who were meant to receive honours were later called to the stage and presented with their plaques. Therefore, it is untrue that he went unacknowledged.

“I was not trying to hurt him. Due to his absence during the presentation, he was not given support. When I requested that my manager get in touch with him later, I was informed that Akwasi Boateng could not be reached. The package is still available, and we have plans to present it to him,” he stated.
