Shatta Wale triumphed over well-known performers like Black Sherif, Stonebwoy, and Sarkodie to win “Artist of the Year” at the Taabea Ghana Music Awards UK.
Medikal gave him $10,000 to commemorate his victory in a touching show of support.
In addition, Shatta Wale disclosed that he received £80,000 for his enthralling performance at the same occasion.
On Sunday, October 8, the “On God” singer revealed this via a tweet.
“Thank you London #GMAUK You did what Ghana music in Ghana couldn’t do, 80k pounds for performance, Artiste of the Year 2023 (icing on the cake). Shatta Wale is a London boy now !!!” he tweeted.
