‘Let’s exercise some decorum’ – Serwaa Amihere tells A Plus for spewing insults on live TV
Popular politician and socialist Kwame A. Plus got into a heated argument with GhOne host Serwaa Amihere over his controversial comments.
The main topic of conversation was Ernest Owusu Bempah’s threats to sue A Plus for libel after it was claimed that he was responsible for the invasion of the UTV studios the previous Saturday.
A Plus called Ernest Owusu Bempah a “foolish guy” during the interview with Serwaa Amihere without holding back.

He declared, “He is a stupid guy,” with confidence. Cut it and send it to him, I am saying it on your programme.
Serwaa Amihere intervened to maintain decorum in the middle of the argument, saying, “Please, let us exercise some decorum.”
Indifferently saying, “Then you people should not call me because that is how I am,” A Plus responded defiantly, “That is how I am.” I am telling you to tell Owusu Bempah that he is a stupid boy, not GHOne. It is written in the Bible that even Jesus Christ said that people are stupid.

He is receiving an accurate description from me. I do not know how to describe you if you are a fool. Owusu Bempah should not think I am insulting him or act like he does not know, A Plus continued. I am just telling you the truth.
Unknown individuals who were allegedly affiliated with the ruling NPP broke into the UTV studios on Saturday, October 7, 2023, and abruptly stopped the live broadcast of “United Showbiz.” More than a dozen people stormed into the studio and demanded to know where A Plus was; they claimed to be looking for him because he had criticised a letter that had been sent to the UTV management asking for changes to “United Showbiz.”
After the security breach and the program’s resumption, A Plus, who had not yet arrived at the studios at the time of the attack, expressed his concerns. “I am hearing it was Ernest Owusu-Bempah who sent men here. That is what I am hearing, and I am just hoping that it is not true,” A Plus stated.
