Ghana’s thriving music industry has long been supported by the Musician Union of Ghana (MUSIGA), which unites the industry and advances the interests of Ghanaian musicians.
As new executives take on positions of leadership, they bear the heavy burden of directing the ship in the right direction.
In this regard, the newly appointed executives have been advised by Deputy Minister for Tourism, Arts, and Culture and well-known music industry figure Mark Okraku Mantey to learn to tolerate one another and cooperate for the union’s growth.
On Tuesday, October 24, 2023, at the swearing-in ceremony held at the Accra Tourist Information Centre (ATIC), the minister addressed the newly appointed executives and said that while they must be united, they must also learn to tolerate one another in order to accomplish their tasks.
