Efia Odo, a social media star and actress from Ghana who goes by Andrea Owusu in private, has taken aim at critics who have been spreading false information about her being the reason behind Kwesi Arthur’s music career downfall.

“They used him, and all I did was support him,” she said, accusing the ‘Nobody’ hitmaker of being a victim of his Ground Up label.
This follows backlash from online users and business leaders against Efia Odo after her performance with King Promise at the recently concluded 2024 Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA), where they believed he would win Artiste of the Year.
The actress refuted the claims made by a fan that she had a bad influence on Kwesi Arthur, saying, “You affected Kwesi Arthur big time, leave our KP alone.” “I do not have that level of power to take away a gift from anyone,” she said, laughing off the accusations.

In addition, she stated, “My sole goal is to encourage Ghanaians and their music, especially my friends.”
