The soulful gospel singer-songwriter Ohemaa Mercy has stated that she has always appreciated music that teaches lessons in life and imparts knowledge.
During an open discussion on Hitz FM’s Daybreak Hitz, the ‘Ote Me Mu’ hitmaker, DJ Slim, shared her thoughts on how she finds meaning and depth in the lyrics of Kofi Kinaata and Stonebwoy’s songs. She stated that she prefers music with uplifting and sage messages, using Stonebwoy’s “Tuff Seed” as an example. She even remembered using the song as a sermon, emphasising how powerful the lyrics are.
The gospel singer emphasised her dedication to advancing positive music and her position on working with secular musicians who share her values and way of life.
