KODA’s burial on July 5 postponed To September 20

The burial for renowned Ghanaian gospel musician Kofi Dua Anto, also referred to as KODA, has been rescheduled from July 5, 2024, to September 20, 2024.

Planned activities for the late singer’s farewell have changed as a result of this announcement made via a post on his official Facebook page.

 

On Friday, July 5, at the KICC on Spintex Road in Accra, the first funeral rites were scheduled to occur.

 

The message was updated to read, “We would like to let everyone know that the date of the celebration of life for our beloved brother Kofi Dua Anto has been rescheduled from July 5, 2024, to September 20, 2024.”

 

Following a brief illness, the renowned Takoradi-based musician passed away on Sunday, April 21, 2024.

His three children and wife survive him; he was forty-five years old.

 

Songs like “Nsempii,” “Nkwa Abodoo,” “Yapai,” and “Adorso” are among the hits from KODA’s musical history.
