Fast rising Reggae Dancehall artiste Clara Kersia, known in the music industry as Klarah Kay has launched her maiden album, titled “Black Is Beautiful”.
The album launch took place at the Krom Pub in Tema Community 9, on Saturday, December 18th, 2021. DJ Bentil was the official DJ for the program with some assistance from DJ Alien as Nana Kay and Mama Gee held the MC job beautifully.
There were great performances from Tris Ney, Honey Boy, Groowi, Timtim, TM Street Governor, Akyedie, Tilly and Ennwai of Dobble fame. You may not know or have never heard of some of these artistes, but their craft and talent will get your attention and concentration throughout their performance.
Finally, the album was unveiled with a spirit filled prayer from Ben Kuslin. The Black Is Beautiful album CDs were beautifully packaged. The first copy of the album was auctioned for GHC200.00, which got few individuals to purchase. It was then reduced to GHC100.00, then GHC50.00.
The Black Is Beautiful album is a 12-tracked album with artistes like Tilly, Honey Boy, Ennwai, Abibiw, Cabum and Asaase featuring on the album. Production credits of the album also go to Money Nation, Big Mike, Kuslin Music, Mogadishu Beat, Sky Beat, Peewezel, Elorm Beat, Leuname and King 1 Beat. The album is out on almost all the digital stores. You can stream and enjoy the great artistic works put together by the young female artiste.
