King Promise contacted me before sampling ‘Aso’ for ‘Favorite Story’ – Kwabena Kwabena
According to Ghanaian singer Kwabena Kwabena, fellow musician King Promise sampled his song “Aso” for a new song.

Kwabena Kwabena revealed that King Promise had told him ahead of time about the sampling in an interview with Hitz 103.9 FM. He told me about our meeting while we were travelling. He shared, “It sounded so good when he played the song for me later.

King Promise’s most recent album, “True to Self,” includes the sampled song “Favourite Story,” which features Sarkodie and Olivetheboy.
