‘I’ve faced battles that shook me to my core’ – Fella Makafui as she marks 29th birthday
As she considers her life to date, Fella Makafui has acknowledged that 2024 was the year that truly tested and shook her to her very core. Today is her birthday.

The actress and businesswoman, who has had a difficult year due to a failed marriage in particular, posted on social media about her struggles.
Fella’s ability to bounce back from her divorce from Medikal and handle the fallout with grace and maturity has won her accolades.
She did, however, admit in her birthday post that she had times of vulnerability and weakness that eventually made her stronger.
“Happy Birthday to myself! Looking back on this past year’s emotional rollercoaster, I am overcome with emotion today. I have encountered struggles that have completely shaken me, but despite everything, I have discovered a strength I never knew I possessed. I am the survivor, fighter, and soul full of unwavering resilience that I am today because of every tear I have shed and every fear I have faced.
“I sincerely thank God, who has been my compass in the storm, my light in the darkest moments, and the source of all of my blessings. “Because of my challenges and successes, I have been granted unexpected opportunities, all of which bear witness to the boundless possibilities that remain ahead,” she wrote in part of her post.
In spite of everything, she is grateful for the ways the experiences have made her a better person.

As I celebrate today, I honor the journey I have traveled, the lessons I have learned, and the person I have grown into. Pride, gratitude, and hope are all that fill me. She went on, “Let us welcome the future with open arms, faith in our hearts, and the persistent conviction that the best is yet to come.”
