Dancehall musician Kaakie, whose contract with Xtra Large Music was terminated in 2018, took a break to study in the United States and has announced her comeback to the music industry.

She said candidly in an interview with Accra’s 3FM, “Actually, I came in purposely… So, by the grace of God, I am returning, and we are putting in a lot of effort.” Kaakie said, “I have not just been silent,” in acknowledgement of the substantial support she has received. Not by myself, though, as I have been working behind the scenes.

My husband has been pushing me and has shown me genuine support. I have also met people who were present at the scene.” Kaakie has everything it takes to make a significant comeback and take back her place in the music business, including her husband’s support and industry connections.
