I’m still hurt by what Fancy Gadam did to me – Sista Afia
The well-known Sista Afia, Francisca Gawugah, is a music diva from Ghana. She has expressed her hurt and disappointment to Fancy Gadam, a fellow artist, for failing to show up at her recent Tamale concert.

The singer contacted both musicians despite the tension that was there to make sure that their collaboration would be fruitful. However, Macasio withdrew because he was scheduled to perform in a similar show.
Sista Afia disclosed that Fancy’s group had been contacted by her management to include him, but he had insisted on receiving GH¢100,000 in payment, which was ridiculous. But after more haggling, the price was cut in half, and Fancy consented to appear.
The success of the show suffered when Fancy Gadam did not show up on the day of the event. Since then, all calls to him and his management have been ignored.
”Fancy and Macasio are the fans’ favourites in Tamale, and without any of them at your show, nobody is gonna leave their house. The attendance was poor, and I felt I was sabotaged. He was very close to me; I know him personally, so I was affected by what he did. The amount he charged me, his fellow artiste is outrageous, but my team was ready to pay immediately, but he just decided not to come,” she said.
Sista Afia pointed out that Fancy has not expressed regret to her or her group or given a reason for his absence. She expressed regret for the event, calling it a humiliating and preventable circumstance.
