I’m not a member of Bawumia’s Manifesto Committee – Okyeame Kwame Clarifies

Well-known musician and businessman Kwame Nsiah-Apau, better known by his stage name Okyeame Kwame, has stated unequivocally that he is not a part of Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia’s Manifesto Committee.

 

The crooner made it clear that he is not associated with the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) and that his knowledge is not limited to any one political ideology.

He emphasised his dedication to supporting the larger political scene by saying that all political parties can use his knowledge.

 

The “Yekoo” hitmaker revealed that he has not been paid for his alleged participation in the committee in a press release that Ameyaw Debrah Media was able to view.

“As I have done throughout my career, I want to reassure my followers that I am still unbiased and out of politics. He clarified, “I have not received any payment or official invitation from H.E. The Vice President’s campaign team to serve on the arts and tourism manifesto committee.

 

Last week, the NPP Manifesto Committee for Tourism, Arts, and Culture announced the appointment of fifteen individuals, including multiple award-winning singers.
