I’m no longer a member of AMG – Medikal

An era in the musical career of Ghanaian rap legend Medikal has come to an end with his announcement of leaving the esteemed AMG Business record label.

After years of cooperation and success in the Ghanaian music scene, the decision was made to split ways with AMG, an acronym for “Arab Money Gang.”

Having been raised by fellow artist Criss Waddle, Medikal (born Samuel Adu Frimpong) gained notoriety under the guidance of AMG Business. Throughout his time at the label, Medikal put out a number of successful singles and albums, establishing himself as one of Ghana’s most significant hip-hop performers.

This announcement was made by the “Omoada” hitmaker on X, formerly known as Twitter. He refrained from revealing the reason for his resignation, though.

“AMG is no longer a part of me. He said, “I am going to slap you if you see me when you talk, AMG.”
