Speaking with Prince Benjamin (PB) on ClassFM’s Morning Show (CMS), Britton acknowledged Sarkodie’s accomplishments but questioned, “Is his name as widely recognized globally as Burna Boy’s?”
“In the streets of London, four out of five people are familiar with Burna Boy. “I regret that our Ghanaian talents did not receive that kind of recognition,” he said.
Britton, a seasoned talent manager with fifteen years of experience, emphasized how crucial it is for Ghanaian musicians to work with foreign record labels in order to gain access to international stages and media outlets.

He issued a warning, saying that Ghana runs the risk of losing out on significant income and music tourism opportunities in the absence of such alliances.
“I want our artists to take risks and work with international labels to negotiate beneficial deals,” he said.
Sarkodie, meanwhile, expressed his pride in becoming successful as an independent artist over the previous ten years by criticizing traditional record deals on his 2024 Hennessy Cypher and comparing them to being “caged in a zoo.”
