I WILL RELEASE AN EP ON MY BIRTHDAY THIS YEAR- KOFI KINAATA
Multi-award-winning musician Kofi Kinaata has confirmed that this year will see the release of his seven-song EP.
Both Kofi Kinaata and West Gold, who have been prominent figures in Ghanaian music for more than ten years, have never put out a collection, despite the claims of many of their admirers.

But it is his singles and features that have helped him become one of the nation’s top musicians and gain international recognition.
Not to mention other notable accolades, Kofi Kinaata has won three straight times in the Ghana Music Awards for Songwriter of the Year.
Even with these recognitions, the Made in Taadi hitmaker has been under pressure to put out a record to establish his career.

In a rare interview for Empire FM’s ShowBiz Today, a weekend entertainment show, Kofi Kinaata emphasised that he is not bothered by this pressure because he is not keen to engage with others in his industry.
“This year I am releasing an EP on my birthday, April 15th. I had even wanted to drop it last December, but I delayed it,” he disclosed, though.
“For those who are requesting a body of work, it will be at least a seven-song EP,” he continued.
He added that he would decide whether or not to release an album based on how well the EP did.
