I was poisoned by the people I trusted, including my sister – Agradaa

Evangelist Mama Pat, also known as Nana Agradaa, has related a story in which she says she was poisoned by people in her personal circle. She was saved by medical intervention, despite the malevolent act.

She said, recounting her story, that she trusted a man, but that she later discovered he was one of the conspirators who planned to poison her.

She explained that once the poison started working, she was completely helpless, so her friends had to call a doctor right away, and he treated her at her house.

Speaking during a TikTok live session that GhanaWeb was watching, Agradaa described how she escaped a poisoning attempt by the people in her life that she most trusted and depended on, like her sister.

“I was poisoned once when I was sick. When my ex-husband, pastor Eric, and I were living together, I trusted this guy more than anyone else. He was, however, involved in the scheme to poison me. I was also involved, as I funded my younger sister’s education.

“I could not do anything, so a doctor was invited to my house to treat me medically because the situation was so serious. The individuals who intentionally poisoned me intended to seize control of my properties, but their schemes ultimately failed,” she related.

Her remarks come in the wake of rumours that John Kumah, the deputy minister of finance, had been poisoned. Nevertheless, the widow Lilian Kumah has denied the rumours, claiming that her late husband was not poisoned. It had been months since Kumah’s illness, she said.
