I want to get Ghanaian citizenship – Meek Mill announces

Meek Mill, an American rapper, has declared his intention to become a citizen of Ghana.

The rapper, who was born in Philadelphia, claims that the reason he moved to Ghana was America’s hostility towards the advancement of black people.

“I want to become a citizen of Ghana!!!!!!” On March 4, 2024, he tweeted, “America is designed to tear down black men if you do not follow orders!”

The rapper took the stage at the Afro Nation music festival in Ghana in December 2022.

The pinnacle of his trip to Ghana was a meeting with President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo at the Jubilee House.

 

Meek Mill, who has since apologised to Ghanaians for his actions, has not shied away from expressing his love for Ghana, even though he courted public outrage by filming parts of a music video at the seat of government.

Over the years, he has made it clear that he wants to go back to Ghana and work with some Ghanaian musicians.

 

Rapper and producer Sean “Diddy” Combs’ former employee allegedly named Meek Mill in a lawsuit, which prompted Meek Mill to go on the offensive on social media.

 

Several reports state that Meek Mill was listed among the redacted names in Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones’ lawsuit that involved gay sex adventures with Diddy.

In a sequence of X posts, however, Meek Mill refuted the accusations and hinted at a scheme to discredit his laborious efforts as a black American.
