I used to be a footballer with Thomas Partey as my team mate – Dancegod Lloyd
Prominent Ghanaian dancer Dancegod Lloyd revealed that he was formerly a football player and even shared the field with Thomas Partey, the current Deputy Captain of the Black Stars.

Dancegod revealed in an interview with Channel One TV that, prior to turning pro, he was a football player for the Black Stars, playing alongside other players on the team.
“I played football. Some of my teammates were Moses Odjer and Thomas Teye Partey,” he said, gesturing.
Dancegod Lloyd said he felt it was God’s will when asked why he decided to pursue dancing instead of pursuing his football career.

He revealed, “You can not question God. Even now, I still ask myself why. Sometimes I wonder why I cannot play professionally, but God knows best, and that is what He intended for me.”
