I RECORDED MY KWEKU ANANSE BEFORE AMERADO – YAW WINNA

Ghanaian rapper and singer Richmond Acquah, better known as Yaw Winna, finally responded to rumours circulating online that he released “Kweku Ananse” because of Amerado’s hit song “Kweku Ananse.”

In an interview with DJ Hitman and Bra Emma on DL FM, Yaw Winna was questioned by Bra Emma about why he titled his song Kweku Ananse.

He answered him by saying that he believed he wrote Kweku Ananse before Amerado did, but it was just that Amerado released his own first.

Officially, Yaw Winna started music two years ago. He said, “I started rapping when I was a kid at children’s shows and others, and I later discovered I could write my own song.”

He also stated he has written more songs, but officially, he is out with two for now, and Ghanaians should expect more from him.

Moreover, he was asked by DJ Hitman what inspires him to do music, and he responded that, when he observes the things the youths are going through and what is happening in the world, he uses it to write his songs.

Yaw Winna served fans with two rap freestyles that caught the attention of the presenter and other panellists present on the show.

He was advised to keep up the good work and also continue learning to make himself more unique.
