Simi, a Nigerian musician and songwriter, has revealed that she only listens to her husband Adekunle Gold’s songs in addition to her own.
The vocalist revealed on the “Zero Conditions” podcast that she prefers Adekunle Gold’s music because of their marriage.
“I do not listen to anybody’s music,” she declared. I am married to my spouse, which is why I listen to his music.” She also mentioned how much she loved J.Cole and Post Malone’s debut album, “Beerbongs & Bentleys.”
Simi explained that she does not usually listen to music and that she is currently listening to her own album, which was just released.
She anticipates a change in her listening habits soon, though.
In reference to the current social media uproar, Simi was criticized after posting a video of herself taking part in the “2345678” TikTok challenge with Adekunle Gold, her family, and friends while wearing a swimsuit.
She received a lot of backlash in the aforementioned video for her unmarried-woman’s attire.
Simi responded by releasing an apology video and admitting that she had disregarded her sister’s advice to proceed with caution.
She expressed her regret to her followers for any disappointment caused and pledged to wear more modest clothing, such as a “Kaftan,” on future pool parties.
