Most singers and instrumentalists in the church hope to be given a little token or support as a way of motivation for their efforts to make the church service a great one. These singers in the church hope to get some support from the church when they finally want to make a career out of the God- given talent.
Gospel musician, Kate Djan has added her voice to the unacceptable treatment singers and instrumentalists receive from some pastors. The talented singer and songwriter, speaking on The On Set show on Funny Love Radio with host Kojo Kinn was so emotional as she recounts some hard times she experienced as a singer in her former church. She said “I was so frustrated that I decided not to sing in church again. I didn’t go to church for two years”. The inspirational songwriter has her husband to thank for motivating her to attend church service.
Kate has songs on Audiomack, YouTube and few other platforms. She is now promoting her new single, Odo, which features Test.
