I have sometimes regretted mentoring people – Ohemaa Mercy
Ohemaa Mercy, a well-known gospel singer from Ghana, has been candid about the difficulties she has in developing young talent.

During an emotional conversation with host Bernice Owusuwaa on GhanaWeb TV’s Talkertainment, she confessed that she has experienced “a lot” of regret in her mentoring relationship.
She did, however, assert that a divine revelation she had in 2020 had strengthened her commitment to her role as a mentor.
“About four years ago, when I saw myself with a lot of breasts all around me, I prayed, and the Lord gave me a revelation that he had made me a mother,” the mother-to-be said.
Ohemaa Mercy described how this realization has shaped her approach to mentoring and helped her accept the responsibilities that go along with it. She sees herself as a mother and her mentees as her children.

“Every time a mother-daughter relationship arises, I always ask God to give me a big heart that can hold everything that comes my way. According to her, “so, yeah, sometimes you regret, but you can not let go of a son or daughter.”
Notwithstanding the unavoidable obstacles, she thinks it is crucial to mentor and support the upcoming generation.
