I have faced bullying and sabotage in my career – Ohemaa Woyeje
A well-known DJ and radio host from Ghana, Ohemaa Woyeje, has opened up about her personal struggles and professional journey.
The mother of two talked about how she had to deal with coworker bullying and sabotage in an interview with Graphic Showbiz.
“Even though they occasionally work for the same company, I have noticed that many people in our industry have less tolerance towards their fellow hardworking colleagues. However, I am a fighter.
“I get inspiration from the difficulties I encounter. Knowing the number of people who want to see me fail gives me strength. That is where my bravery comes from. Because of my abilities, I have been the target of bullying and sabotaging by both men and women who worked with me,” the woman remarked.
She claimed that these difficulties had only strengthened her resolve to succeed and given her more courage and strength.
“Up until now, I have battled my way through. You can sometimes become what you permit. She remarked, “I will not let you stop me.”
Ohemaa has won numerous accolades for her talent and diligence, including Radio Personality of the Year at the Ghana Outstanding Women Awards and Best Female Radio DJ at the Ghana DJ Awards.
She is a law student currently enrolled in school and has written an autobiography called “2D Experience” that describes her 20 years in the media.
